Boy Scouts

The Boy Scout program at River Road Presbyterian Church seeks to build character, foster citizenship, and develop fitness - all while having a good time! Scouts learn new skills, develop hobbies, learn about responsibility, and make new friends. RRPC sponsors Cub Scout Pack 770 for boys aged 6-10 and Boy Scout Troop 770 for boys aged 11-17.  Newcomers, former Scouts, and merit badge counselors are always welcome.  Click here for Boy Scout 770's website.

Girl Scouts

The Girl Scout program can change the way girls see the world and their place in it. Girls learn the importance of personal responsibility, the value of goal-setting, the spirit of teamwork, and the thrill of accomplishment. The Girl Scout program is based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law and four fundamental goals that encourage girls to develop to their full potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop a meaningful set of values to guide their actions and to provide for sound decision making; and contribute to the improvement of society. Girl Scouts are divided into the following levels:  Daisy (Kindergarten - First Grade), Brownie (Grades 2 -3), Junior (Grades 4 - 5), Cadette (Grades 6 - 8), Senior (Grades 9 - 10), and Ambassador (Grades 11-12).
