Groups and classes for all ages meet at 10:00 a.m. between the two services. Adult classes meet all over the main building. All of our children’s and youth classes meet in the Monroe Wells Education Building (8). Care for children up to age three is provided in the nursery on the first floor. Our professional, background-checked caregivers provide care from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. each Sunday. Classrooms for older children are on the second floor.
We have three adult Sunday School classes that meet at 10:00 a.m. Our Young Adult group meets in the Parlor located near Saunders Hall. The Sharing and Learning Together (SALT) class meets in Kemp Hall, which is located directly beneath the Sanctuary and can be entered from the ground level doors next to the Central Parking Lot. Our Martin B. Williams Adult Bible Study class meets in a classroom (Room 01) down the hall from Kemp Hall, also on the ground level of the building.
Visit the Faith Formation area on our website for more detailed information about each of our Sunday School offerings.
Wednesday Nights
Wednesdays are a cornerstone of our church life. During the program year, we hold Wednesday Night Suppers in Saunders Hall fall through spring. Some weeks include entertainment such as pub-style trivia during dinner or making gingerbread houses afterwards. Other Wednesday nights may feature a guest speaker for the adults while the kids enjoy a supervised activity.
As a visitor, your first Wednesday Night Supper is on us! Simply sign up here (as normal). When you arrive at Saunders Hall, tell the person checking you in at the door that you are a visitor and enjoy your meal!
Most of our music programs meet on the second floor of the main building - Children’s Choir at 5:30 p.m.; Handbells at 6:30 p.m.; and Adult Chancel Choir at 7:30 p.m. The praise band rehearses after dinner is over in Saunders Hall.
We also hold special events on Wednesday nights throughout the year, like Trunk ‘n Treat, Carol Sing and the Easter Egg Hunt.
