Children’s Choirs

The RRPC Chorister program is designed to be a safe environment for your child to experience God and grow in their faith through music. We seek to help children develop a lifelong love of music making by teaching basic elements of music theory, fostering community among young people, and being an integral part of the RRPC worship life. We hope you will consider enrolling your child in one of our choirs!

Cherub Choristers | Age 3 through Kindergarten

For children up through kindergarten, the Cherub Choir is an amazing way to plug your child into music making at a young age! Short rehearsals and meaningful music make this a must for your young singer. The Cherub choir leads worship two or three times a year and is led by Sallie Roberts.

Alleluia Choristers | 1st and 2nd Graders

For children in first and second grade, these choristers make up our beginning choir and focus on experiencing music in a variety of mediums. The Alleluia Choristers lead worship four times a year and are led by Abby Baird.

Jubilate Choristers | 3rd through 5th Graders

For children in third through fifth grade, the Jubilate Choristers take their music making to the next level through learning to read music, how to sing with good technique, the history of music in the church, and have fun! The Jubilate Choristers lead worship regularly throughout the year and are led by Director of Music, Landry Duvall.

Adult Choirs

RRPC values community singing for adults of all ages. Our Adult Choirs perform regularly in worship and focus on community, spiritual growth, and vibrant music making. If you are new to RRPC, this is a great way to get to know members of the congregation and plug into the ministry of the church! No adult ensemble requires an audition, all are welcome.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is the primary choir leading worship in the 11:00 AM Worship Service on a weekly basis. The choir consists of about 40 members including 4 staff singers, one in each section. We sing a wide variety of music representing many musical genres and styles. We often sing for special concerts and events in Richmond and around the world. The best time to join us is either at the beginning of the fall or spring season, but all are welcome at any time. We hope you will consider giving Chancel Choir a try!
