Music for Adults

At RRPC, we value community singing for adults of all ages. Our choirs are open to anyone with a desire to praise God through singing or ringing. No audition is required for any ensemble. The most natural times to join an adult ensemble are at the beginning of September or January, but the door is always open. We hope you will consider making a choir a part of your spiritual journey at RRPC.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is the primary choir leading worship in our 11:00 a.m. worship service weekly. The choir consists of around 40 members including 4 staff singers, one for each section. We perform regularly for worship and special concerts at RRPC and around the world, and our repertoire draws from a variety of styles and genres. We hope you will consider singing with us and growing alongside us in community.

Rehearsals | Wednesday Evenings from 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the Choir Room (Second Floor)

river road ringers

River Road Ringers is our primary Handbell Ensemble and is open to all. Handbells are an important part of the River Road Music ministry. Our church is blessed to own two sets of Handbells, as well as Hand Chimes. We hope you will consider joining River Road Ringers, and experiencing community in ringing!

Rehearsals | Wednesday Evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Handbell Room (Second Floor)

Summer Choir

During the months of July and August, our worship services are led by our annual Summer Choir. The Summer Choir does not wear choir robes or sit in the choir loft. We enjoy sitting with the congregation, and coming up to the Chancel to sing the anthem. The music is accessible, and many people who cannot sing in the choir year-round find this to be a great opportunity for singing! All ages are welcome. Come check out choir in the summertime!

Rehearsals | Sunday Mornings in July and August from 9:00-9:50 a.m. in the Choir Room (Second Floor)
